The voices in peoples head
Tells them to do horrible things
They get in trouble because
Of a illness they sometimes
Have from birth

Sometimes they know not what they do
Who they hurt
What they destroy
Or even that they are hurting themselves

Some chose to take medicine
Some chose to be stubborn
And not take the medicine at all
And stay insane

They chose to live on the streets
And not seek professional help
But nothing you can do about that
It is their choice
To do what they want

Crazy don't ya think

Cold hands means a warm heart

I'm crazy, but in a good way. Actually, two good ways. First, crazy about you Julie. Second, crazy as in silly and goofy.

What is life without poetry and adventure?
"Little sister" is just another way of saying "Guardian Angel"!

Listening to every heart

There is a lot of truth in this, Julie.  As a parent of a child who was diagnosed Bipolar, and now as an adult, she refuses to take that medication that would help her get through life in a way that people would be accepting of her, and of her disability, is very sad, indeed.

In many ways, she was a very brilliant child, and could have done so much, but that will be lost, until she, alone, can find her way.

And that, breaks a parent's heart.

This is one of your better poems.  Insightful, full of understanding.  Congratulations on your 2000th post.

(big hugggssssss) Oh Julie, this is so very sad, sweet friend, my heart goes out to all who doubt themselves and live without treatent though I respect it is their own choice and should not be forced! (sigh) This is a powerfully sensitive 2000th post, sweet friend, congratulations, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Julie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

There ought to be a better way, but what could it be?

Congratulations Julie on your 2000th posting.
One of the many milestones I hope you will be havinge at PIP. You write about your life and the world around you. I always click on your titles to find out what's going on in that pretty head of yours. You share so much with your writing.
