There is comfort
In redemption
Relief in
Forgiveness
The white hot
Winter left my
Summer cold

your breath failed to
Sweeten these bitter days
I had become deaf
Unable to hear your voice
I had become mute
Unable to speak your name

The damn broke,
Salt rolled endlessly
Over my tongue
I savored despair,
Labored despair, &
Harbored in the wallow
until now...

There is comfort
In redemption
Relief in forgiveness
& the brilliance flashes
like noonday across
this rainbow face

Tier, this is beautiful, sad yet filled with hope and rejoicing.  Nicely penned.

This was lovely, Rainbow face.

Hurtingly hopeful, (my cup o' tea)

Tier,
There is nothing I could say that would do this sweet poem justice.

So I remain,

Don't believe anyone would fail to moved by this, Tiers...we've all, at one or another time, been there - done that!  Very well expressed for the masses, my friend.
