Dearest Knight,

I walk these floors,
cold with absence of Thee,
a wandering mind wishing
to see that sparkle,
in eyes so blue
that they pale the heavens above.

If Ye must travel a different road,
once on land, if it takes more time
than an hour glass turns over,
mine heart shall not rest
as it times its beating
with the galloping sounds of thy steed,
upon which My Love flies.

In absence, I pine for Thee
comforted only by the nearness
of Thy cloak left behind, its scent
a reminder of our last evening shared.

The moon has phased in and out, twice over,
as I lay each night beneath, watching,
wondering where Thou has laid his head.
If Thou hast dreamt of Your Lady,
can she touch you through this plane,
this field of words, her poetry in motion
traveling, not resting 'til reaching thy stead?

May this Dove of ours,
speed its delivery.
May lips of Thine,
feel the kiss placed for Thee,
sealing the words, mine thoughts
for the one this Lady loves.

Godspeed My Love,
Lady Ollyne

Lady O. I do hope this noble knight returns to your lady as fast as his noble steed can. Enjoyed. Chris

Fair Lady,
If cloak smells of pine,
he shall be thine.
If scent is sweat,
he shall forget.
If scent is dew,
he loves you.
If scent is sea,
he will leave thee.

Lady...it's been awhile since you've visited the blue pages...and yet, you still await the good Knight...be brave, and do not pine...I am sure he shall come soon...

Mention moonlight and knight, and there shall I be, for I am the Knight of the Moon, the Poet of Darkness.

Thank you.

Ye truly doth write like a lady, me lady!

..."the moon had phased in and out, twice over"....

What an incredibly poetic way of expressing the passage of time!

This whole poem is exquisite!

You inspire

Dear lady, awaiting, passions’ despair,
So truly, remaining, living’s repair,
To rejoin you to who your heart desires
To reform you both in emotional fires,
May you soon see the feathers of Dove
Foretelling of the return of your Love.

good luck be to you
