Across the bridge of sighs
My hand is held by you
And as the river flies

Flowing to the sea
Our life and all its streams
Come, river walk with me
Fulfilling all our dreams

The river holds its own
Its bosom holds our rest
All the secrets sown
Can make us river blest

The river gives us voice
The path winds long and free
And we have made our choice
Come walk the path with me

Hand in hand we go
Across the bridge of sighs
Move with the river flow
And stay the time of whys

Come river walk me
Enjoy this time of ease
For water sets us free
Our love does well to please

Across the bridge of sighs
The river far below
Revelling in blue skies
And ways that love can grow.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown

Keth beloved heart and singer of my soul’s song, you know I love love love this don’t you.

In sighing breeze I feel the touch
That tells me come and give of such
And while the wind speaks to me
I hear a sigh whisper softly
Follow the river it’ll carry you
Through fire and flood to haven blue
Then float in dreams where’re they go
To that place I so want to know
Your soul awaits me to lead me on
To walk in a garden filled with song
All this I learn from softened breeze
Who chattered the tale to the trees

Keth,  your poem is extremely good...nawww,
how about excellent...flows very well and
I almost sang it... "Bridge of Sighs"...I
like that...   Almost made me think of the
song about "Old Man River"  talking of the
mighty Mississippi River...
