The Communiqué  Is this missive naught but her own script Of thought? This savor of smile In what was transferred from mind To page? Or Is this an epistle of explain After months of wait for that one Who walked to war, a promise On his lips, of one day To return Does she read a pledge of love, Or promise of future? The seal reveals, once broken, As does Her heart, now reborn. |
