Sept 11th Today I saw a lady cry, I saw death come from the sky, People trapped in burning buildings, Firemen rush inside to save them, Clouds of smoke and debris, Anguished cries of agony. Today I saw a lady cry, She had to watch her children die, Tears were falling down like rain, Life will never be the same. Today I saw a lady cry, and yet her torch she still held high, As I gazed upon it, It was blinding like the sun, For it was the torch of justice, and justice will be done. PMC 12.09.2001 |

A truly tragic day, has been vividly recreated through your writing. Well done. Earth Angel |

Over this past year I have seen that Lady often. Indeed I believe she represented a loss and a pain that was so real it appeared to surround her as she stood where she's always been. A very touching poem. |

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Patrick, this is so very heartfelt, sweet friend, God Bless You, yes, Lady Liberty continues to shine through all the smoke and tears and her torch is only growing brighter than ever, to honor all her children and guide us with faiths flame! (wipes tears) This is powerful, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Patrick, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Thank you for all your kind words. Its a poem I was moved to write but one I'd sooner not have written. Kind Regards Patrick. |
