Tonight...
right now.
I'm so alone.
If I were blind
I'd tap morse code
with my cane
upon concrete
in hopes I chip
a bit of me--
and were I deaf?
I'd find a drum
and press my chest
on skins in hum...
to dance
and oh I might as well
be mute...
this scream
is silent spell.

There is no chant.
There's no incense.
There is no spark.
No candle's glimpse
of light that lingers
shadow'd edge.
Tonight? I'm lonely.
Tonight?
I beg.
since I cannot be with you...

I want to make a graphic
that could create
the you on me...
I wish you were emoticon
and visual? not blasphemy...

I wish I felt a soft exhale
of you falling into sleep...
oh-I-wish I could feel you--
and oh-I-wish you could feel me

Perhaps a candle lit
sometime with thoughts
of you, just you
true, no chants
no spells
though it may feel
like hell
some time
just to find
the you inside
that we do so adore.

Just a little levity. Not to take away from the words I assure you. A sad and touching poem. I felt your loneliness. Very well done!

Okay...

you also have my permission to do sand angels the "left way" but?

I warn you:

This may cause abrasion and serious discomfort.

And? could very well ruin the rest of your vacation!!!!

Sen:

-Sand angels-
Their eyes of granite did proclaim
nothing. 'Twas only sand.
