I took this picture last year at a tulip farm in Silvan, Melbourne. * * * * The heavenly fragrance of freesias Fills my senses in the morn The blackbirds eat the bread I have left upon the lawn Spring is finally here And the days are now long The birds outside my window Sing a sweet melodious song My jamsine looks a picture As does my wattle tree Amongst my many blooms Is where you will find me With a cup of tea in hand I'll enjoy the sun's warm rays As I eagerly await Summer And those long hot days Mother Nature displays her finest Here I witness her very best I am at peace in this paradise A place I often come to rest These flowers are called schizanthus (poor man's orchid) and I took this picture at a conservatory in Ballarat, Victoria I am in motion I am blue Love is an ocean I'm anchored in you - Shawn Mullins [This message has been edited by Suetang (09-11-2002 12:13 AM).] |

Yay!!! Oh my gosh, this is so breathtakingly beautiful, both Silvan and Ballarat seem so heavenly, I have never ever seen a tulip field that gorgeous and the poor mans orchids are lovely! (kiss on cheek) You always know how to bring a smile to my face, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Sue: The flowers are beautiful and enjoyed your poem. We have huge tuplip farms in Western Washington that look just like the ones in your pictures. They have a tulip festival every year there. Also other bulbs. Seems strange that you are having spring, as we are going into fall! Betty Lou Hebert [This message has been edited by Trillium (09-11-2002 12:23 AM).] |

Sue, this just tugs at my heartstrings. I am grateful to know I will get through our long, cold winters with pictures and thoughts of your garden. Happy Spring!!!! Marti Every now and then take a good look at something not made |
