Lingering I’m sorry to say I let your flowers die and not one tear could stop their dry I saw them wilt right in front of my face and nothing can fill this empty space I toasted its death with a bottle of wine could have shared with another but left it as mine I felt it only fitting to end it’s life with a toast now all I have left is a lingering ghost
