Just a little something I came up with..

Rumaging through
Her attic
She stumbled upon
A tiny box
Carefully she opened
To find the occupant
A little worn
From the years
But still shining
Through her tears
She found her Grandmother's
Heart Shaped Locket
Engraved with her initials
And a picture residing inside
Time warping her
Back to homemade cookies
And bananna nut bread perfume
It's been twenty years
Since then
When she was just a small girl
On her Grandmother's lap
Picking berries
Eating homemade pies
And having her Grandmother
Kissing her goodnight...

Sometimes memories are stirred by the mere touch-of-remember of a special object ... seems yours have been stirred quite beautifully~

My Great Grandmother comes to me in gentle reminders she left behind also~
Aren't we fortunate ?

This brings to mind a lot of my own
memories...of days with a lady so dear to
me....She sacrificed a lot of her own
personal time to allow me things that I
wanted... and her love continued till her
death...ever faithful...just as I am sure
your grandmother was for you...

Thanx for letting us see this part of your
heart...enjoyed the moment...
