Mountain rain (by Mikey and Tiersdin) |

How can I capture the summit in your eyes? Let it rain fragile faces breaking slow and fast against the rock. Anchor here and whisper prayers, sign & symbols, souls are free... The standing pines, soaking down, from the sky's hard hands. Wash the stain of life from these tormented eyes, let them burn no more in light of sun. I can taste the lightning stones. They form a zero, then a one. Hide within, like butterflies swallowed whole. Fly, fill your wings with sweet water... Do not drown so near the sun. Be my clouds for storm's daughter. Sing thunderstorms beneath heaven's branches. Sing lullabyes with the tenderness of your lips... Though they seem today as shattered as a rose quartz bloom. Crystal pieces suspended in time, caught like diamonds on the horizon. They cut the dark glass of the sky. Bisecting white vines of light. Ivory columns keeping watch over towns & everywhere the rain fell down... We found a place at earth's roots to dig a grave for what we found ... O'er mountain tops & all around, upon this kiss, the rain fell down... And from the frosty peaks, a mirror's silhouette silhouetting knives, the sun upon their blades, and upon our shoulders. Twin peaks, separate yet together. Twins joined apart... And I will ask you, just once more. Once more, rain. Hold my heart. [This message has been edited by bsquirrel (09-07-2002 02:12 AM).] |

Hello everyone, it's been a while, I know. I had some issues with my PC and the net, but everything seems to be fine now. I hope you enjoy this endeavor by Mikey and myself. We really enjoyed writing it together... *smiles* ~Tier "I shall never bond again, as I have bonded with you..." |

Fantastic! Two poets are better than one, and it shows. One of the best I have read here for sure. I can detect the individual styles I think although they are both simular. Nothing more majestic than mountains, this piece makes me want to climb again. Great work guys, Zall |

Glad to see that you (singly and otherwise) are back at it. Also glad to see the rain and stones of wellbeing. ~wranx |
