Well it's a crazy world after romance and the lawyers love people with rights The journals of wrong gave us no chance until we settled on mutually nice. Family ties got tossed in a canyon Where the strength of all reason erodes Now we're feelin the lonely abandon on life's restless and empty byroads Chorus: I know our world turned tragic All the turmoil was unkind And we found Cupid's magic Was a trick that played on our mind Well we used to make love in the moonlight Oh the heat was as hot as the sun. And time would just stop it was so right on into the night we would run. Now we're tried by the toil of existence while we care for the children we share But we've finally found that forgiveness Keeps us movin from hurt to aware Rep chorus.
