Today I have a sad story to relate you see I'm staying with mom these days hooked into her internet so I could be with all my friends. Yesterday a storm finally came brought with it alot of rain, on top of that some lightening too yep you guessed, the router blew. Wiped out the connection to my pc I'm dead in the water now you see not only that the drivers gone don't know where it went in the storm. I just know it no longer resides there with the ethernet inside cpu_guru my brother dear well it's takes a lot to get him here. Have to beg and plead, and call him honey cause he knows I have little to no money so I tried to fix the problem myself well I might as well put it on a shelf. Cause my computer is a mess right now I fixed it good, I did somehow now I've got drivers for stuff I don't need a mess, a mess, a mess indeed. so I'm stuck using moms pc which makes her awfully mad you see she plays cards and chats all day and doesn't care what I might say so I'm sad, yes I'm really blue just thought I'd share with all of you my state of mind on this day guess there's nothing left to say. |

WhiteRose - your tale well told. Lighting is bad news with these computers, or any other electronic gear... BC |

I understand every whimper and tear, so sorry fate's messed with your gear! I must say, though, the tackling you did is something for which I just ran and hid. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Anne, I'm so sorry your computer crashed, I can understand the frustration you feel and I hope one of your looved ones can chip in and repair your own computer so both you and your mom can be happy! (sigh) This is very well-said, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Anne, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Poor Anne.... Oh how my little chipmunk heart bleeds for you... I know exactly what you've been through how hurtful a dead computer can be I cry...real tears, I do...for thee. Well...at least you wrote an adorable poem out of your pain and please, Anne...send us a bit of that rain Maybe I should send my husband, David to help you...he's a computer genius, you see and then I could tag along with him and I could get to meet thee ~ hugs from a not very poetic chipmunk Lyra |

Well, Anne Hope you get the thing back together soon. Many here miss you already. Best of luck. ~wranx In reply to "which way do we go?", the answer was never "straight", but, "progressively forward". |

Trust me I've been there and share your grief. Nice flow and construction. "Aging keeps life interesting" |
