To save the soul from sinful maw of lusting fires that scorch and burn and bring to heart the jagged flaw in selfish minds of wicked churn. The vine of wind in sprout and mesh of tendrils seek of plundering. To find the soft of warmest flesh within the night’s still welcoming. As clouds of dark before the moon now hide the glean of wicked eye. Where howl eyes bay the echoes croon the chasm heavy ‘neath the sky. Soft beat of heart and sleek of skin now guards one self from dreaded touch as shivers come the pale of when before the fall of lover’s crush. Pray not the doom shall come to thee, shall take the fire of passions bright. Pray not the mind shall wake to see the shadow’s lurk on darkest night. As shadows dance from blaze in roar and fireside chats retain the lore. |
