  Dear Dr. Love,

I know this might
sound queer
But love is not
the worry here.
Still, I hope
that you can mend
This problem
that I send.
It seems my
stubborn muse
Does disobey me
and refuse
To offer words
of rhyme
Like she used to
all the time!
She's silent
and she pouts,
Fills my confidence
with doubts
That no poetry
will I compose
So what do you
suppose?
Maybe she's going
through a phase,
She often seems
as if in a daze.
Does she need
a costly drug?
Might she have
an unknown bug?
Doctor please rid me
of this plight,
I need my muse
So that I can write!

Seems everybody's muse has gone on vacation. Do you suppose we'll find them all soaking up the sun in Jamaica? You did a nice job without your muse in this piece. Enjoyed!

Yep, I can well relate to this. I think that muses elope to escape us demanding poets, they need a holiday sometimes but if this Dr. love was any help, could you give me the no. enjoyed the read.

brian - thankyou for your comments. I am sure that Dr. Love would be happy to help you out if you ever need. He's quite busy and often elusive, but if you call out "Emergency!"...I'm sure he'll answer. lol.

Fuji - Sometime our muses just up and disappear for awhile. They like to play hide n seek I think.

start some verse!
