I have this fishing friend of mine, collecting sand of earth
Just plain soil to be specific, wich to him has worth
He heard that I was travelling, to different places there
And asked me if I could bring home, some dirt from everywhere

So I thought of all those poets, coming to Tampa town
I'm sure it would be possible, for you to take some down
He just needs a tiny bit, but labled where you took it
It is a strange collectors item, that I must admit

When I'm back he will be thrilled when I'll display them there
I'll take a pic from his big smile wich I with you will share
His father has this fishing pond where I am catching trout
And those big goodlooking salmons that I talked about

So poets dear, when you come down, just grab some earthy soil
You put it in a little box, make sure it will not spoil
Mark it with the date and place, so he will recognize
Wich soil's from where and he will be so grateful to you guys

you could use those little boxes from the camerafilm, you know, those round ones with a lit on

Such an earthy poem! Simple, down-to-earth---and by the way, I love your photo--you look like the salt-of-the-earth! Truly!--You look like the sort of person I'd like to sit down and have a cup of jo with!---We could invite Marge to join us! Ha! Ha!

Earth Angel, come on over to Tampa girl, we'll sit down and then you could tell me what on earth a cup of 'jo' is.

Mmm I think I settle for some wine, or whiskey will do too. Thank you for liking my pic and you're darn right, I'm a true Earth-girl.

Lyra, I'll keep my fingers crossed lady, and when you manage to come be certain, after my hugs and knuffels you'll be bruised all over

Serious, every night when I walk my dogs, I tell the moon "now you make her better, so she can come over, because I want to hug this lady". Hope he'll listen.

Well darn Titia, if I was going to be able to come, I would bring you some Oklahoma soil. I hope they have another meeting and you can come agian, then maybe I will get to go. You are going to have so much fun.

I'm just now making a list of things to pack. I'll bring a sack of sand from West Texas. It's not fit to grow anything but cactus and mesquite, but I'll bring it along. (Hope they don't open my bag and ask me what it is!)

I can't go because I don't have any money right now. And if your talking about Tampa, Florida. I am only 4 hours or so away from there. Which is cool. But I can't go.
