Listening to every heart

When I Listen

just like you….
………just like you…..
I have ESP….
magic!
ESP
thoughts transcending
space and time
and phases
and stages
and
time

just like you….
……..just like you!…..
my thoughts don’t hinge on the
thought of me….
but of you

because what I see
in this transparency
is that we are not so different
even when we differ
in our differences…
some are looking
some are not
some are keeping
what they’ve got

and I hear the stolid
feel the solid
know what rocks
know who’s the rock
I can see
who’s watching the clock
keeping love on the tick
of the tock….

and then in that ESP
I sense that
fluidity works for me....
lapping over rocks....
bubbling, babbling brooks of
delight over precious stones....

and in that fluidity
perhaps my words touch
what you see
in your day that stands
in your way
that gives you cause to say

lead me on….

and on and on and on….

and in my ESP
I hear your song, you see…

when I listen….

Quiet is the essence of calm.

in the most unexpected places.

I love the wordplay in this one, Karilea...
the whole poem is just crammed with these goodies but I liked this one the best.
