Down the hall I hear footsteps fall Where no one There should tread My chest gets tight Feet and legs get light As I crouch beside my bed I lay in wait For that quick escape Unknown predator friend or foe Heart in my throat View edge of black overcoat Site set for head or toe Come on in Is all I’m thinking Trigger finger lay in wait Hunter no longer hunting Flipped ya now Your bait The noise was loud Hearing is back now Have to open my eyes Flowers in hand There lay my man My pleas were wasted tries Graveside seat Is where we meet To share ours souls continue For now my love Your with God above It’s flowers I will bring you |

not your story, I hope, now your mom's it seems like you wouldn't be here writing, unless...I don't want to dwell on this Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

If this is a true story---it is one dreadfully horrific one! On another note, as a writer, you were very successful in creating an emotional response from this reader! Linda |
