Garden of Broken Hearts By Paul Wilson What do I have to show for all the years we shared How was I to know that you never really cared A box on the bed full of pictures and letters I’ve read I wish I could stop this pounding in my head since you left…words un-said My heart is shattered a million pieces or more You were all that ever mattered my ring now lying on the floor A broken heart is all I have to show For all the years we did share A garden where love again will never grow with this loneliness nothing can compare Tomorrow another day starts without you I will try to get through Look for me in the garden of broken hearts for I will always love you |

Paul, I can't imagine the pain. Courage to you. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Larry...I guess I should have explained. The pain and heartbreak I write about here is not real,my mind just sort of drifted off in this direction tonight. Sorry for the confussion. Thanks for reading and take care...Paul If you are ever up late at night and need a ear to bend drop me an e mail, I work nights every other week and I am a good listener. |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Paul, I'm so happy this doesn't relate to your own feelings though my heart goes out to so many who truly feel this way as it saddens me too to know this feeling! (sad sigh) This is powerfully heartfelt, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Paul, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Paul---I, like you, often write stories that are not from personal experience. I'm glad this poem wasn't based on one of yours! You really drew me into the mood of this write. Linda |

Thanks for the kind reply...Paul Seymour...Thank you sir. Glad you enjoyed...Paul Marti...Thank you for your concern and taking time to read...Paul I apologize for any grief I may have caused you, this was not an actual situation in my life. Chris...Thank you for reading, glad you enjoyed...Paul White Rose...I'm sorry you took this as being real, I am not going through this experience. My mind just sort of got hung up on this subject last night and I decided to write about it and how someone in this situation might feel. I don't anticipate being in this situation, but not many people do.Thank you for reading...Paul Linda...Thank you very much for reading. Paul, I'm so glad this is not about you! I guess we all get so involved in each other's lives that if we read a sad poem, we overreact! Thanks for clarifying and I like your idea to Lyra about using a warning label!!! We need to have Suetang get those labels also. Hugs.... |
