The waves lap the shore Caressing the warm gold sand As we stand as one together You take hold of my hand I move in a little closer As our fingers interlace How lost in love I am When I gaze up at your face The lonely cry of a seagull As he flies along the shore Like the ever returning tide You keep me coming back for more The sky has turned to crimson As the sun begins to set This day of love and romance I never will forget The moon's light will guide us Of your love, I'll not lose sight Then we'll dive with reckless abandon Beneath the covers of the night I am in motion |

Whether of a real event or imagination, it is vivid and invigorating. A finely crafted piece. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

Hi Sue -- We're back from vacation and hubby is not at all ready to resume work!! I love this picture and the poem and may have to take Ron back on vacation to the beaches in Maine!!! Jonathan did the triathlon this morning in one hour and 27 minutes. He did great and finished 173rd out of 333 in the amateur section and finished 11th in his age group of 18-24 year olds. Not bad for a kid who's never done one of these before. He's one hurting pup though tonight. Legs like rubber. Hugs and chat with you soon. Love, Marti [This message has been edited by NewEnglandlazurlu (09-02-2002 10:15 PM).] |

Sue... Such a beautiful picture and poem to match. I love to watch sunsets and stretch my neck just to get one more glimpse before the night takes hold...Paul |
