June-In-Spoon ~*Marge Tindal*~ I have tasted this June-in-spoon Palette whet with wet Saline memories found the rain and they cry me yet~ Borrow of sorrow cupped in sips of used-to-know Porcelain heart cannot contain the seeping overflow~ Stir of bitter-sweet surrounds me blend of past in broken cup Oh, the memories have found me now they fill me up~ Tasting now of June-in-spoon saucer sips delicately drawn I would not miss the spill-of-remember sweeter still ... though you are gone~ ~Yeah ... I know ... but it has to be~ Mike, Mother, and Shari June 2002 ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Marge: A hauntingly beautiful memory of some sadness in your life. They always hurt, but we all have a need to remember! Betty Lou Hebert |

"Stir of bitter-sweet surrounds me blend of past in broken cup Oh, the memories have found me now they fill me up~" I truly love this stanza especially, how apt and heartfelt. Sometimes it's so important for us to acquire that taste of bitter-sweet to truly appreciate the meaning of life, of love. *hugs* ~mycafe Keep counting your blessings |
