Most Beautiful Love

Am I afraid that I will lose my love?
Yes there is a place in my heart that is
scared to death that she will simply go away.
And in so going I would no longer feel the joy
she brought into my life in her special loving way.
I am afraid it would be much more than I could bare
if I should ever have to endure the loss
of this most beautiful love that we share.
For surely there is not a living soul in this world who would want to lose someone for which they care.
Yet sometimes we are forced to come face to face
with a reality that seems scary and unsure.
I wonder if she loves me as much as I love her?
Yes I do believe she loves me but in some
ways I'm not so sure.

Never doubt yourself. That is all that I can say to that. It was a wonderful piece and I think about things like this all the time.

Thank you Ladycat and Nan...as you begin to see the beauty of love and realize what you have been missing it is painful to think that you may lose it...I can only go on past experiences and each time I have lost it...but hopefully not this time...James
