Radio Noise Every planned action builds upon the last, efforts driving toward security, creating illusions for neighbors’ eyes of lasting luck, presenting surety. Brick upon brick, invisible mortar, carefully doled, packed in parsimony, blocking out unwanted thoughts, ugly views, until even perceptions ring phony. With the house and garden nearly perfect, full of stuff in demand and trendy toys, the hours to fill are growing longer with the hiss of mistuned radio noise. © 2002 CM Bailey |

With the house and garden nearly perfect, full of stuff in demand and trendy toys, the hours to fill are growing longer with the hiss of mistuned radio noise. Incredible verse and title. Suddenly, I am grateful for my oh so symbolically...overgrown garden. Amazing what comes up in spite of the weeds! Forgetting all I'm lacking |

packed in parsimony ... until even perceptions ring phony. with the hiss of mistuned radio noise. I know this. After reading and delving, it occurs that your writing hits not simply because the imagery is striking, but for its clarity and aptness. You are a poet of realism, of life. And it makes a large portion of what you create hard to swallow. Good. It should be. You have a rare, rare talent... I have so enjoyed the pieces of yours that I've seen. Thank you, Corrine. -- a little lurking presence rearing its head |

Thanks, Duncan! Diversion - What a great message - great way to start my day, thank you! Hmmm, "a little lurking." Do I know you? Dark - a little white noise to block out the next hotel room - good idea! I prefer the sound of the ocean, of course! |

I think that diversion said it best Cor. . . you do have that way of looking at life. . . excellent. . . ------------------------------------------------------ To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

(smiles) Oh Corinne, this is wonderful, sweet friend, I agree, you remind me so much of the impressionist painters like Van Gogh, you always captivate a real image of life and say it so well but make it so surreal all the same with your descriptive language talent! (kiss on cheek) This is excellent, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Corinne, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you!
