i wanted to wake you... but you lay peaceful in my bed facing the wall as you do-- i cant help but laugh a little at your snuggling up to that wall... i shed my clothes quietly standing by the bed i made this morning noting the now rumpled comforter dusting my leg... its good to have you here-- i searched long for you... never imagining just never knowing-- i never wouldve guessed... i curl around your warmth and you take my hand with an urgent grasp holding tight weaving me into you... you love me without a word... how is it that you can love me this much... am i worthy of all i ever dreamed of? will you stay until tomorrow-- until the sun comes up and vanishes again and on another day and then one after... just one more day-- every day... i wanted to let you sleep... but you awoke to tell me that you love me... ...youve painted this smile on my face with your paint brush of devotion-- using colors pure and unbleeding... sleep now...while i stare into the moonlight seeping through the blinds on my window... sleep until the dream wakes you and you turn from the wall to find me... there i'll be my love there i'll be... -dgvarner 6-23-02 ~dgvarner/fallen rain~ "life is what happens while we're making other plans..." d.g. I've missed seeing your work here of late. Always enjoy it, you know. Perhaps this one suggests where you have been? I haven't done much here lately either, but you seem to have a nicer reason. Dee darling girl, oh how wonderful it is to see you, is this true? You’ve found it finally, hurrah and no one deserves happiness and love more. Wonderful writing darling heart, You’ve no idea how much I’ve missed your writing. So no more falling rain? Fabulous, isn’t love wonderful, the warmth and delight seem to seep right into you, and all those lonely places within aren’t lonely anymore. Your writing was always wonderful, when its infused with love like this is it is utterly utterly perfect.
