So smug you are in your Judas ways You gave me your undivided love “You say” Then while away the mouse played Until trapped by the uncertainties The mirage of love dissipated In the lying truth you begged to return Hostility in disbelief permeated my thoughts Now strangers exiled to two distinct worlds Joined in a broken bond of shattered pain Piercing stares upon a bowed head Left no doubt as to the offender Time has imprisoned us to working together In an ever increasing distance The medicinal sentence of abstinence Has created the void of extreme desires not met You chose to stay to face the music For the love lost was so monumental That the revenge inflicted Was worth the sentence Of total solitude In all the anger Love still hid In steel eyes of determination Lurking in mists of lusts of past memories In the encounter with a family counselor They said to forget about the vented hostility Go home and recommit To each other in embraces Under doctor orders we touched so gently That I insisted on getting on top of this situation And make you pay in my special revenge Of letting you never forget me Wearing down your wandering spirit In the chains for me needing you Get my medicinal revenge (This was written from thoughts not experience. My real life needs of comfort has not been met. I tried to make it neutral to gender but I am sure it failed.)
