Yoo-Hoo, Oh Noah !

~*Marge Tindal*~

For eight days now, we've not seen the sun
Events are looking rather stark
Tell me quickly, Noah ...
Where'd you put the plans for the ARK ?

Another day may be too late
the animals are standing toe to toe
If you don't find those plans right now
they just may have to row !

Come on old man ... get it in gear
The water is rising fast
If you don't get those plans to me
none of us will last~

Marge, ya know I love everything that you write....though.......  This is definately one of my favs, it is so light and fun.  I am glad to see the smile in you today, and that your tears have washed away.  Hugs to you sweet poetess!

I could have missed the pain, but I'd have had to miss the dance~~(Garth)

Marge:  I hope you have time to build that ark once you get the plans!  Maybe you'd better have a rowboat handy.  Sorry about all that rain!  We are now out of ours and having a little sunshine.

Supercute, Marge....I had one in the works about the same subject...so I guess I will let it float for a while (pardon the pun)

I have many unfinished poems in the works...so don't feel bad...

I just adore this one....
so very cute.

Rain, rain go away
the Ark is in the lumber stage
although our Margie wants to play
the animals are in a rage
if the rain ain't gone by morn
we may all join the unicorn.

Love the verse Marge, so cute.

Cute poem and graphic, Marge. Could you funnel some of that rain out here to the west?

ROFLMAO... I love the way nothing can dampen your spirits... or dilute your ink. *G* This is a treasure, Marge. *S*

It seems you're having the weather we had last summer... this year, it's drought. Last year, Allison dumped almost 3 feet of rain on us in 3 days... this year, we've had less than 1/3 of that amount for the entire year... Too much or too little with no moderation... you'd think God had put a manic depressive in charge of the dipper dousing us, hunh? LOL

Folks~
Six years since I wrote this one ... and now our area is simply under siege from Tropical Storm Fay~
She has shown no mercy to the State of Florida~

She is STILL dumping her fury on us~

If you are keeping track of her at all, then when you hear Volusia County or DeLand ... that's me~
I am inland 19 miles West of Daytona Beach~

I am more than safe where I am ... but I have friends who are flooded out of their homes~

Please keep them all in your prayers~

My poem was meant to lift spirits after the rains we received way back then ... but the flood-water damage that folks here are experiencing is very not-so-funny~
