I’m a crackerjack poet a sonnet soaked in petroleum a balladeer of sorts a black cat lyricist caterwauling on the fence as neighbors try to sleep I’m the back pocket beatnik there is love in every note of my bohemian extinction My aphro’s on the inside My rebellion’s on the inside My wounds are on the inside and they all itch a terrible amount [This message has been edited by wayoutwalt (06-11-2002 01:04 PM).] |

You need to be published. It would add a very new and wonderful flavor to the published poetry world. Distance is the prison for our bodies, but no prison could weaken our passion. |

Have you tried drinking a botle of Calamine lotion? Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write. |

You can be the prize in my CrackerJack box any day! I love the way you write, always brings an emotion (and a lot of smiles). Definately agree with the being published thing, you should be in print! |

this is fantastic! You have it right on the head, me thinks. That itching line is superb! I finally saw the photo for its theme...it's Gilligan and the Skipper! I feel so slow that a snail would beat my thinkin'. I'd love to take a copy of this poem and share it. It is...delightful just doesn't seem like the right word. I don't know what to say. I'm back, cuz I think I know what to say...I think, now, more than ever, I know the essence of Walt. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
