take a pick
where to buy
neighbours suggest
on the fly
local variety
round a corner
down aisles, collected loners
cool on summer days
iced tea on chilled trays
near refrigerated doors
frozen food displays
neighbourhood beat
country seat
beach side heat
canteens full of May Wests
a nickle bought that then
closed, contained
away for winter months
came back in summer once.
