running lazy trails

I lick my lips

and whisper words

we tell each other every day.

The meaning can only strengthen.

soft and warm beside you

even though now

so far away.

Distance, my love,

should mean nothing to us

when we are imprinted

on each other's minds.

Hugs an' kisses to my morbid rodent baby.
