Puzzling half way to nowhere Regurgitated lines without thought Storm driven peep shows Stalling in clogged arteries Medicinal therapy in mind blockers Writer’s fix, need to get high Hallucinated magic mushrooms Spiraling in twisted limbs Snapping off winds tempest Blocking stagnant conformity Meal of worms squirreling about Peach fuzz skin invading a body Colored stars in sparkler tracers Walls breathing in melting hands Vision on reflective mirrors Of horror shows Mind trips of meditation Levitating beyond the shell Caste adrift on a celestial plain No agitation and no pain Soothing spirit floating free With your ancestors power Transporting mental images Through times gate Deprivation of nourishment Mirages of thirst Heat induced delusions The grand council of nature’s forces The eagle searches in your eyes Focusing its talons on your brain Shrieking in a tremor of knowledge Its wings come back to haunt you For destiny is your claim to fame In a terrain bruised with difficulties An existence that can only be destroyed By piercing imagery Creating illusions of achievement Beyond normalcy In an enveloping mist you are Blinded to see Deafened to hear Numbed to feel Leaving the inspiration Excruciating in eruptions Upchucking paradise Floating free within tears of joy In a paradise of your creation Email me if at [email protected] D.Lester Young (06/21/02) Tuscaloosa, AL Copyright © D.Lester Young (White Eagle poetry) http://www.authorsden.com/visit/author.asp?AuthorID=5012 |
