I am as constant as the electricity That hums through the power lines, The sound whose volume increases With the falling of the night And the silence that accompanies. I am a quantity unchanging Throughout the bitter winter snows And summer swelter, Felt best on mild spring days And in the crisp of autumn. I am the sum of my emotion In all its energy, never Beginning, never ending, But always here, always there – As relentless as my love for you. |

Thank you, Goodknight! (That phrase sounds funny.) And by the way, I really enjoyed your poem, "Intimacy". I had difficulties replying at the time, that's why I'm telling you now. |
