We stand so close together
In a passionate embrace
The rain falls down around us
But all I see is your handsome face

We are totally oblivious
To all the people passing by
So immersed in one another
As the clouds continue to cry

We finally make it home
Seeking shelter from the storm
We sit beside the roaring fire
Our bodies close to keep us warm

The red wine is the color of rubies
In the flickering candlelight
Here together on the sheepskin
Is where we'll spend the night

Love will take us to many places
But there is nothing to compare
To waking up each morning
And knowing you'll be there
