~*Marge Tindal*~

Cascading thoughts-in-slide
take me back with wanting grace
Wrap me in the gift of love
in another time ... another place~

Back on a remember
before he went away
Past the news of his departure
before that dreading day~

Set my feet down in the meadow
where we ran with kites in tow
Sister and brother growing up together
with a lifetime yet to go~

Let the freckled grin
play across his smiling face
Lord, ... take me back once more
to another time ... another place~

Let me hold the memories
turning them inside-out
Mike in the heart-of-my-remember
I just couldn't live without~

Give me a taste of his laughter
blowing once more on the breeze
Dear Lord, I beg you ...
just one more time,please~

Keep his memory fresh in my mind
Renew the smiles he brought to my face
Let me touch my brother's remember
of another time ... another place~

~On the anniversary of my little brother's birthday
I need the gift-of-remember for all he was....~

Well Hon, that's just a heartwarming poem you wrote here.

I had a younger sister, she was born dead, but sometimes I just ponder how she would have been if she had been alive.

Marge
Makes me feel sad to read this.  Only 34.
Nice picture.....I'm so glad you have those fond memories........Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could just even briefly, go back to another time and another place.
Take care!

I can only be with you in memory
Instead of at your side
But a loving heart you've given me
And there I will abide.
Your ears hear whispers of long ago
Your eyes still see my smile
You celebrate all the good in me
And do so with such style.
Some days I'm part of your every thought
At least, that's how it seems
Those are times you'll know that I've
Been hugging you in your dreams.

This is beautiful, Marge... such a loving, tender tribute of remember.

Marge:  Such a heart-touching poem and he was a handsome little boy.  Man too, I'm sure. such heartaches are never forgotten and become a part of our lives. Strangely enough, our only grandson, Scot, was killed on the same day.  It was just before his 10th birthday.

Margie girl darling sister of my heart this is simply exquisite writing. I can see your heart within this, and the ache and the love you feel, written with the delicacy of touch that only you can do. You simply with apparent ease write the words within your heart and the result is breathtaking and haunting. You have such a way of places the words so that they drape over my soul like a mantle of sighs. Tenderly soft and loving memories, this is truly exquisite writing. I love it utterly and this is another keeper.

Sending a hug to wrap around your heart from one sister to another.

Marge...this is so warm and touching and sad.
Your brother was an adorable little boy, its so sad that he only grew to be 34 years old.

My older son, Eric...was 30 years old when he died 2 years ago this July 8...just 14 months after his father.

I have found that the memories are sharp as razors at first, but they soften with time.
I hope they have softened for you, too...and that you have many happy memories of the happy times you shared with him.

~ loving hugs

Marge this is such a touching poem. My brother was 26 when he died. If I remember right, he died in 1980, also. Thank you for sharing this.

Auntie Margie girl you know this is one of your best poems the way you’ve recalled the memory with such a sweetly tender touch you are as I’ve been known to say incredible, particularly when your hearts ink flows. This is such a wonderful piece of writing and I love it.

This is definitely a keeper I am putting it in my library

Marge-
I don't have the words, but I do have lots
of heart hugs for you.
You KNOW I felt this right along with you,
and I hope there are more smiles than tears
in those moments of remember.
I love you lots,

*Friends~
Please know that my memories of Mike are as fresh and alive as they were when he lived~
I visit them everyday to make certain I never forget each smile he left behind~

It doesn't get easier to do without him ... but that's the way it should be when someone we love leaves our lives~
But with time ... it does become bearable~
Thank God that we have that ability to remember~

Sincerest appreciation to you all for you kindness~
