Foolish A south wind holds my sheets in play Warm and steady throughout the day. The clouds adorn a stage of blue And I am torn the loss of you. My wile has formed a butterfly With wings that shadow every lie. And leach their colors on my mood And crease my brows into a brood. Why did I ever sail away? You offered me a throne to stay A bouquet of lovers brew Full of angels love and you How foolish was the youth of me To turn away and go to sea To set my sights upon a roam With nothing but a home of foam So now I wipe a tear of brine And dream a love that should be mine. |

Love the metaphor and imagery you masterfully worked thru this Stinky...right down to foam and brine.!! Me thinks it was Long Johns fault..all that pirate talk got Randy's sea legs going a bittersweet beauty Sy-babers...many a love has been lost to the sea.... maybe thats why butterflies stay on dry land *winkiewinkie* You ... |

JM, Good morning my beautiful Tinkerbell and how are you this rainy morning. I hope the sun is shining for you. Glad you liked the write but it is only one way of being foolish, there are countless others. Shall I count the ways? Winkiewinkie Randy Stinky. |

Sy Regret is past tense and rhymes with forget, sort of, and part of the reason for youth is to be foolish so we can feel it. Now ya got me all philosophical. Great poem and I enjoy reading your thoughts, always. |

Seymour darling boy this is of course wonderful, at least when you talk of foolish regrets you do it with enormous aplomb and style. Utterly utterly perfect writing darling heart. I was going to say if you’re going to be foolish you can ….. but thought better of it If I’m going to raise a few eyebrows then at least it should be entertaining. Did you miss me earlier? I’ve been doing summer garden things, its been an absolutely perfect summers day here. I’ve watched butterflies doing what butterflies do, which honestly isn’t much, if there’s a blonde of the insect world you just know the butterfly is it. Watch it fly and you can almost hear it shouting in surprise I’m flying look at me I’m only flying aren’t I mate. Bees on the other hand buzz about with purpose, they are definitely the workers of the insect world. You know a bee is saying that’s it there and back before they know I’m gone. Of course this is all nonsense but I didn’t want you to think I’ve been wasting my time sunning myself. This is utterly utterly wonderful and I love it utterly. Love and warm stuff As always Mushy Breathe through the heat of our desire |

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Seymour, I can feel some regrets in these words, sweet friend, I know just how you feel for while I haven't experienced the loss of love yet, I love my dream girl Joanna so very much and I know I want her so much and I feel if I lose her I will always regret it! (sigh) This is emotionally powerful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Seymour my dear friend I don’t know how you do but whenever you write I’m carried away on your words. This is really fine writing and YOU are an exceptional excellent writer of superb talent. This of course is the mark of an gifted writer you carry the reader on a wave of your words rather like a surfer carried along in a perfect curl. Well written Seymour very very well written, please do some more Love and warm stuff As always Krissy And while thy willing soul transpiers |

The clouds adorn a stage of blue And I am torn the loss of you. You capture so much so well Mr. Tabin Truly, your words sail and touch down on so many places I have been. Outstanding images to compliment the sentiment. Loved this!!!! |

Dear Seymour, I would be honored To hold a place in your heart... But I suspect too much affection Would not be very smart. *G* For I've heard tales of Isabel That make me quake with fear - So my kisses will be platonic When I meet you and Deer! LOL You are such a dear... I can't wait to meet you! I'll bask in your talent... even if I can't figure out a way to transfer some of it to myself. *G* |
