Innocence Lost Hands of Darkness Touching my face. Then grasping and fondling A once private place. Despair and dread Icy fingers in my soul. Torn by guilt and shame, I no longer will be whole. To struggle only binds me tighter, Caught in a web that won't let go. Where to turn? Who will believe? When did my friend become my foe? |

Oh my...this brings back some painful memories....maybe I'm interpretting it wrong (is this about rape (or something like rape)?) this almost has me in tears.. very well written...lots of "numb emotion".. Tai |
