It seemed like only yesterday When you found the key to my heart You and I became inseparable For nothing could keep us apart But our light of love has dimmed And my blue skies have turned grey The sun moved behind the clouds On the day you went away Many nights we once spent together Searching for our guiding light As the moon shone like a beacon We wished upon our star so bright But those nights are now a memory For you have faded far from view But I recall with much fondness All the times spent loving you You were the star in my constellation My treasure beneath the sea Part of me will always love you For you once meant the world to me I am in motion |

(smiles) Awwwwwwww, I love this, sweet friend, this is wonderful, and may you always swish upon those stars as many more great delights await your heart! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! The stars are there my friend - perhaps hidden behind a temporary cloud cover. In our hearts there is always room for more than one kind of love. Hugs, Marti |

Sue: I'm glad to know that you are not really lost and lonely, as this poem implies! Good writing! Betty Lou Hebert |
