'... I also ate the worms which were crawling around the flowers...' AHHHH...you ate my worms. My precious worms that keep my soil aerated and crunch up stuff to make compost? You really are a pesky garden pest!!!! Shhhoooo, scatttt....Marti :-) |

Marti... Chipmunks don't eat worms unless we get desperate... We are usually vegetarians but when there aren't enough acorns, nuts or berries around, we might eat an occasional insect or worm...and in real desperate times, we have even been known to eat bird's eggs... Dear Madame C. Well, now you know the power of your words. In your effort to write without e's, of which I had no idea, you wrote a profoundly beautiful verse. Yes, the power of words. They say, " be careful of what you say because once said it cannot be undone." So goes it with the written word. What was to you and your collegues a simple exercise was a deeper bone of wisdom for me. So, keep on exercising it works! |
