I used to write songs of nature coated with thoughts of bright future I used to write these poems that everybody loved they had butterflies, waterfalls, and tall green grass with lots of sunshine and even when there was rain, there was always the rainbow and the light pouring through it all seemed so sweet so good, so nice, the world was so beautiful as beautiful as you and each walk of life seemed so pretty, hand-in-hand, foot by foot, in synchronised steps with my jeans gripping yours close and tight it was all so colourful like million shades of crimson in ever promising sunsets and it was all so soothing, like breeze on seashores salted to the right taste everything seemed perfect then in the beautiful past and when I saw you yesterday, all I could think was you are so beautiful to me the same as always only the world has evolved at a different pace leaving me behind, wearing faded jeans [This message has been edited by Sudhir Iyer (08-12-2002 05:52 AM).] |

wow... I had a visual of splashing color, with a man in shades of blue/gray... I liked the slow description of loss of innocence/realization/crimson jade. *hearthugs in understanding* well done, m'friend. ![]() |

I enjoyed this read. It went from the deep of color to a simple thought. And it made the transition so gently. Lovely! |
