Tell me there's a man alive who perceives the delicate intricate in map of crack-- a journey's egg of hard-boiled life understanding birth in shout... knowing there is life within a shell--a tiny vein of lark-- a freedom mapped within fine line-- tell me there's a man alive who could take the birth of me-- tell me there is life-- outside... "tell me." I'll kick me alive. * * * *smile? I just HAD to captilize the "I"....I wanted the empowerment, yanno? okay...I'll STOP NOW. not-bloody-likely...* [This message has been edited by serenity blaze (08-10-2002 06:01 AM).] |

And not bloody likely that they would ever know... and therein lies the difference... but I know...you know! |

Now wait a minute!! Some of us do know how to cook an egg.......it's the shell thing that confuses us sometimes. Your look this morning is that of soft boiled instead of hard and it tastes good with my second pot of coffee. |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Karen, this is wonderful, sweet friend, I too am not sure there is yet in words such as these you always make these thoughts and possibilities come true! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karen, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! A beautiful poem, Karen..... But... I am sorry to crack your pristine shell here... I have a husband who understands... He definitely understands that map and he can read it perfectly no matter how many cracks it may have... but... He is mine! all mine! sorry to be so selfish........ I absolutely loved your poem...its very special. ~ hugs from hard boiled chipmunk Lyra |

Boy could I get myself in trouble with this one. Men! That's all I'm saying. I delighted in the poem. It's enigmatically cute. In truth, what defines us is our poetry. |

"Tell me there's a man alive who perceives the delicate intricate in map of crack-- a journey's egg of hard-boiled life" __________________________ Girl, you can work any metaphor and make it your own...and even then, I relate. I believe it's Janet Marie who says 'mirrors baby' well I'm copying her line This is cool in it's scream for understanding and introspection. This is yet another keeper! Take care, Melissa~ "Poetry is not an opinion expressed... |

Well, if you're cracked enough to come out of your shell, I'll have you for breakfast...are you fit to be fried? |
