Requiescat in pace purple prince flows no more your regal silk finage, nor the dare that your flaring convinced all beware your swelled rages were vintage. Sweet cylindrical sprite in your flight betta butterfly royal splendiferous, would your caudal rays daylight ignite did your royalty merely endure us? In serenity swam ventral fins near unseen hummingbird dorsals oaring, from filigree flew finery's winds pisces flown left alone I'm imploring Death so colorless, final removes to what dark place did his beauty fly? If to nothing than this only proves that to nowhere and nothing Love I. "Happy people have no history" - French Proverb |

"Death so colorless, final removes to what dark place did his beauty fly?" This is epitomy of the shock of a view of death. And yes, I do take this deeper in my mind on metaphorical levels, especially, since in my own subconscious language I view the "fish" as symbol of spirituality. So I read this through that slant--and found many layers, most profound. touche'. ![]() |

Ahh...good. Not just a death, but the absence of anger...[through my eyes, anyway...] and the alliteration...excellent! |

The closing lines intend...poetic perfection. ![]() If all the tear drops went to heaven |

Hi, did your fish really die? Or is this just a metaphor? Either way it is an excellent poem. I use to have a Beta, they are so beautiful. I stopped having fish because they died so fast, I was always sad. Sandra |

![]() (big hugggssssss) Oh Richard, this is so very sad, sweet friend, I hope this wasn't a metaphor to yourself, though it saddens me too when I have fish as pets and they die so quickly! (sigh) My heart goes out to you, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Richard, thank you for sharing! ![]() May love and light always shine upon you! Thank you for your comments. Indeed my lone fish who's been with me for two years died leaving my heartbeat the only one here. I did however broaden this experience to include, metaphorically Love and it's spirit. Too I am ditching the anger. |
