would you come and take a ride? If I would love you to the moon and back, would you stay right by my side? If each morning at its dawning, my hand would reach for you, would you receive my longings to sing promises true? If in the evening, at sunset, mid the shadows of time, I brought blossoms of paradise would you ever be mine? If in the rainbows of springtime, the color of my love shown, would you listen with your heart as I make my love known? Love, no matter what your answer, I am powerless to bend, I shall love you to the moon and back and time has reached an end. ©August 9, 2002 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
