Memories Whisper

Soft brilliance of blue is the sky today
sweet are the memories blowing my way.
Fond thoughts leave me with a smile on my face
remains of cherish in hearts special place.

Warm breezes blow gentle upon my skin
my mind drifting away to days of when,
the best things in life were those that were free
the song of a bird, wind whispers in trees.

Gods little things, so easily given
making each day simply more worth living.
The scent of lilacs soft upon the air
wisping breeze gently blowing through my hair.

Memories whisper, serene the release
thankful of life, gracious moments of peace.
