Prophecy

The hive has overgrown its bounds
Six billion buzz in overt sounds.
Laced within a lost intent
Swallowed by desires vent.

Taxed and tarred the gardens flair
Much too ignorant to care
Wallows in a self-deceit
Generations will repeat.

How many turns will break the wheel
How frivolous the cake of steal
How acid is the say goodbye
How bitter is the end of lie.

Time has set a subtle vend
And not so subtle is the end
Life will spring and start again
But not within the time of men

Life persists with change to be
And will return from out the sea.

Good Morning Sy!

Wonderful metaphor, with the busy bees and repetitive tasks, I loved how you wove your thoughts into the wisdom-laced gem.

Best wishes,
/Kit

Hard to pass up a Seymour poem as it is but to pass one up with the title prophecy would be a sin!

"Time has set a subtle vend
And not so subtle is the end
Life will spring and start again
But not within the time of men

Life persists with change to be
And will return from out the sea."

There you go with that evolution stuff that you and I argue about......I mean in a good way!

Nicely done as usual!

...but turn the wheel we do in style
for revolutions bring the wile
in all deep thoughts in deeds of men
to turn the circle, again, again...

you do keep me going in circles, my Sy...

JM,
Thank you and good morning Tink. Well any morning is a good morning LOL. Shall we have some raspberry tea in our garden of pretend? Or perhaps a walk along the shore.
It's been a while since we met and I'm starting to miss you. WWRS

Seymour darling heart OH MY! You have to know this is seriously excellent writing stunningly well written the way it flows from beginning to end in such lyrical beauty. That you write exceedingly well everyone acknowledges, when you write and you incorporate the truth laces through with your perfect Seymour wisdom it is incomparable.

You know on such a day as today, when my mind is here and then quickly elsewhere I need the stability and the assurance I get from the pearls of wisdom that you daily scatter for us lesser mortals to gather. When I have gathered enough I shall string them together and make a necklace, which I shall wear to ward me from foolish actions. Do you think your softly gleaming pearls of opalescence will look good against my milk white throat? Mmmmm if nothing else they will remind me to think before I act.

You do know I utterly utterly utterly love this it is exquisite.

Thank you for you, you are very special

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

BRAVO!!! Oh Seymour, I agree though it saddens me to agree, I believe that this prophesy is so very true but can only be inevitably caused if all of man is resurrected and seek penitence together! (sigh) We are all honeybees that knead honey to the heart of all life and harmony and I pray together we can work for our salvation!  This is excellent, sweet friend, I love your morning reads, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
