"Heaven Cries" © 2002 Brian Eggertsen, All Rights Reserved Intro... You may be lost But never forgotten, Always in our hearts Though taken so sudden... Verse They ran into the crub'ling buildings While others were running out, Courageous angels that's what the were In a nations eyes, no doubt. A fire Man's become a hero To all children in New York City, No more Batman or Superman Firemen's what they wanna be. Chorus Heaven Cries tears of pearls. With the nation in grieve, While heartaches spread 'cross seas. For shattered families, Lost souls demanding peace. Heaven Cries tears of pearls. Verse 2 As the twins fell the skyline fell too Leaving The big apple naked, September 11th touch a country But not enough to break it. Folks found their long lost humanity And began to help strangers, One man is scared but people are strong United we cleared the dangers. Chorus. Bridge You will live on In our memories, Even though you're gone You're love will always breathe... You may be lost But never forgotten, Always in our hearts Though taken so sudden... Chorus Add (Spoken) I just want to take this time to say: Let's all join hands and pray for those- Who didn't make it through September 11th. Let's also pray for those who stood- Face to face with death, and survived. To see heaven cry, and the sun rise over the USA... May the sun always sine upon the good, And may the force of good always win...Amen |
