Rise proudly up and spawn of Queen Anne's lace As Rag weed yellows heartily will keep the pace So delicate these latent blooms in summer lost While intricate of budding beads and boundaries crossed Sure sewn tapestry on wheat backed paths Natures handiwork reminds the fields in aftermaths That yet the days of play to pale will trace Rise proudly up the petticoats of Queen Anne's Lace Another painted sky in quiet calm resides Another patient beckoning where lily bell abides Yet another gathering of peach and plumb bouquet Rise proudly up this Queen Anne's Lace to trail another day Copyright Kkh 8/7/02 [This message has been edited by ThisDiamond (08-07-2002 09:08 PM).] |

(smiles) Oh my gosh, I love this, sweet friend, this is breathtaking, I love Queen Annes Lace, I would love to re-post the poem I wrote about that flower for you if you'd like! (kiss on cheek) This is a beautiful portrait of August summer, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kathleen, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

I cannot imagine how it must have been wearing a petticoat....particularly in August....if that is what this is all about... A very intriguing poem....I must admit it has a feminine touch to it (naturally) and therefore I feel a little stupid...... |
