In the Heart of G-d

In all of creation
I've never seen anything as beautiful
as the smile upon your lips
Or the twinkle within your eyes

I've seen Twilight softly kissing
the Summer's horizon
and Aurora painting upon
the canvas of Autumn
using the colors of everlasting Love

There were times that I've seen
the Moon so silver it seemed
as if Winter had stopped by
for a brief visit
leaving Luna shining brilliantly
with a sweet kiss good bye

And there were times that I've seen
the Ocean dressed in the kind of blue
that is so purely beautiful
it leaves a sweet stain on my eyes
And when I look at you
I see you dressed in that kind of blue
that kind of heavenly blue that only I
can see with my Sapphire colored eyes

Sometimes there are nights in which
I stay up late looking up at the universe
trying to find your smile
and see the twinkle in your eyes
Only to find falling stars
from the eyes of our Creator
And I see my love for you there
engraved in the heart of G-d

A very sweet poem, even with the God to G-d change -- which sort of gives it a nasty kicker of an ending. In other words, more amazing work from you, DDA. I believe in god, and I don't think the spelling of his/her/its/their name matters much.

You brave woman. Heh heh.
