forgiveness of self

Leave self hate behind
No more in judgement stand
From my self made pit i climb
Give me my helping hand

I must forgive myself
Then peace is mine to take
No more in sorrow delve
And a new beginning make

I have not made a very good job of a worthwhile subject.Any one else care to have a go??

I think you've done a great job of this subject Arthur. You've succinctly captured the most important aspects. I loved the line:

"From my self made pit I climb"

Very inspirational, and a great reminder to all, much enjoyed!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Arthur~This is very well done!
How true in that we must forgive ourselves first
in order to move on to new and better things.
Well done and good to see you posting again!

Arthur, when one lights upon
succinctness, one does not
need to improve...
you did a fine job here...
now, for those that need to take heed,
we must keep this at the top!

How true, we must forgive ourselves. Funny how it’s always so much easier to forgive someone else, than it is to forgive ourselves isn’t it?

Good to see you posting again, I hope all is well. Are you having fun in the MG this summer? Mine just went into the hospital with a broken clutch

ARTHUR! Are you a fan of Morris Garage!

I've been maddened by a few of them.
Axles, Carbs, Most of all, Wiring Harnessses.
Oh! and overheating.

BRAVO!!! Oh Arthur, this is so very true, sweet friend, not until we forgive ourselves can we truly feel free and rejuvenated and then embrace the world without worry! (sigh) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
