standing on a shadow's lace

Sky Spent

where do stars
reside in day
light appears
they chase away
where is it that
they go to hide
does moon caress
them in pride
who gently folds
the quilt of night
where passions spent
before the light
clouds ripple splashed
across nude sky
as day releases
bright satisfying sigh
