The skies are restless today as the spirits wander ....searching. The winds roar when the white wolf howls .....into the silence. The trees bow in respect.... to the elders. The children play hide and seek ...among cotton candy clouds.  The heavens are painted blue..... with their laughter. The winds stop to listen.... as the elders speak... ...of days passed by. Days...... when the earth was their mother and the land .....was their home.  They speak of a time...... eternal, when the spirits watched ......from skies above. Awake in the dawn of tomorrows tears and find joy as the journey of a heritage is set in the eye of this day's sun to once again control the winds of honor and soar in the hearts of ancestors." ============== You gotta know whether revised or not......I love this piece. It's meaning is more special to myself than I could ever convey but feel at peace in not attemping so. Beautiful thoughts penned in delicate assurance ....... you know "gentle" just as is your chosen name in the pages of blue. |
