Where my love does come to pass as the days become the year When my heart pumps broken glass as my soul sheds one more tear As the night takes from the moon and darkness falls on the land when two hearts no longer swoon as the touch comes to a hand While a heart mends of it’s own and love once heard whispers not as my hand clutches the phone and a flush comes to me hot Once the earth turned for the two till the stars fell from the sky Lovers danced on the morn new as the Owl hoots a soul’s cry Sands of crystal pull the feet in staggered walk of despair as one heart sounds lonely beat in search another to share Once the rage of lover’s ball no longer shuffling the floor hearing trill the distant call of the Raven’s Nevermore |

I like the refernce to Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven" at the end. Very cool. Cold hands means a warm heart |

Sands of crystal pull the feet in staggered walk of despair as one heart sounds lonely beat in search another to share This is very beautiful, Barry... You need to dress up like good old Ed Poe, and take your picture...and then you should post it with one of your "nevermore" pieces. ~ POEtry hugs Lyra |

Magnus darling boy again your writing is outstandingly beautiful in its form it’s utterly utterly breathtaking in its beauty. Your writing in this is exquisite, I love it utterly utterly. Listen can you hear that? That’s the sound of your words falling into the pools of solitude that lie on the edge of Loneliness Sea. Absolutely beautiful writing darling I love the thought you’ve put into this. Perfect darling heart utterly utterly perfect. And yes I love it utterly As always Mushy Breathe through the heat of our desire |

"As the night takes from the moon and darkness falls on the land when two hearts no longer swoon as the touch comes to a hand While a heart mends of it’s own and love once heard whispers not as my hand clutches the phone and a flush comes to me hot" Real sad poem and the above example is an excellent piece of melancholy poetic writing. Great work once again Magnus |

Magnus...I hear the heartbreak in your words. But the pain only gives this poem more meaning, more of your voice. I truly hope that your heart becomes whole, once again and that love shines down on you in ever more brilliant light. ***Ivy Rose |

WOW!!! You truly have the spirit of Edgar Allen Poe in you, sweet friend, you are the Raven Of Passions who shines with both mysterious and chivalrous words! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you!
